CARE.What’s Your Purpose?What You Will DoThe Community Assistant promotes the leasing and occupancy goals of the community while promoting resident satisfaction by acting as a liaison between residents and the staff.CWS Values: You will embrace our core values and set an example to the team by demonstrating these values daily.Make safety a top priority Ensure that the health, well-being, and safety of our team members, residents, contractors, and yourself is foremost in mind in conducting all business activities.What Your Day Consists OfLeasing the communityPrepare move-in packages and lease paperworkWalk units to confirm readinessReview lease and issue keys, gate cards, etc.Positive resident satisfaction and retentionEstablish and maintain rapport with residents and act as a liaison between the residents and the staffPlan and implement social events for residents on a regular basisAssist residents with any issues or conflicts that may ariseParticipate in on-call program for after-hours resident emergenciesMarketing the communityParticipate in weekly staff marketing meetingsActively participate in the annual and semi-annual turn processAssist with marketing needs of the communityAdministrativeMaintain office suppliesAssist with maintaining resident files and entering resident information into databaseCWS Risk Management ProgramAttend and participate in regular CWS safety meetingsAdhere to key control policyWhat You Bring To UsGeneral knowledge of student housing property managementStrong verbal and written communication skillsAble to adhere to a set and variable work schedule, including weekends and emergenciesAble to establish and maintain effective working relationshipsAble to maintain a professional and ethical atmosphereOwn a valid driver’s license with good driving record and current automobile insuranceStrong customer service orientationBasic internet, word processing, and spread sheet skillsAble to perform work responsibilities at locations other than home propertyAble to travel within major metropolitan area and may be required to attend company functions in other citiesHigh school diploma or GEDCurrent lease onsite or lease no later than the next applicable lease termMust be an enrolled, degree-seeking studentGeneral knowledge of student housing property managementThis job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee.
