Employment Type Full-time Requirements Cardiopulmonary resuscitation Licensed dental hygienist X-ray / Radiography Certification Valid Registered Dental Hygienist license (NJ) Valid X-ray/radiology certification CPR certification Knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA health and safety regulations Excellent communication skills and a patient, friendly personality Strong organizational and documentation skills Ability to work as part of a team Entry-level and new graduates welcome to apply Job Description Key Responsibilities Conduct initial mouth screenings and review oral health histories Identify dental conditions such as gingivitis, caries, or periodontitis Perform dental cleanings, scaling, root planing, and apply fluoride as needed Educate patients of all ages on oral hygiene and preventative care Set up and clean your hygiene room; sterilize dental instruments Take digital X-rays and accurately chart existing treatment and periodontal status Maintain thorough and accurate documentation for each patient Monitor hygiene supplies and notify team when reordering is necessary Assist the dentist in selecting appropriate treatments for various oral diseases, including oral cancer screenings Foster a friendly, patient-centered environment and work collaboratively with the dental team Benefits 401(k) Dental insurance Employee discount Paid time off Health and dental insurance 401(k) with matching Paid time off Employee discount Jobley Bonus: $180 (awarded to candidates hired through Jobley) Shift & Schedule Monday: 10:00 am – 8:00 pm Tuesday: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm Wednesday: 10:00 am – 6:00 pm Thursday: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm Friday: Closed Saturday: 9:00 am – 2:00 pm (alternating every other week) Sunday: Closed Flexible scheduling, with rotating Saturdays and some evening shifts About the Practice Name: Dr. Stephen Tabori DMD Location: 171 Main St, South River, NJ 08882 Dr. Stephen Tabori DMD
