Job Description
- Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical plans, and equipment submittals
- Assemble and install walk-in coolers and walk-in freezers
- Unload, stage, and transport refrigeration and HVAC equipment at job sites
- Set roof curbs and place rooftop HVAC units
- Hang evaporators, condensers, and related refrigeration components
- Install copper refrigeration piping and braze/solder connections
- Pressure test and leak check refrigeration systems
- Install and hang HVAC ductwork and supports
- Run and secure drain lines and insulation
- Assist with equipment startup and basic system checks
- Follow safety procedures, PPE requirements, and jobsite protocols
- Maintain tools, materials, and clean work areas
