For more information, please visit .We are seeking a Vice President, Financial Advisor to join a growing team focused on serving clients referred through custodial channels. This role will partner with new clients to understand their goals, provide thoughtful financial guidance, and deliver a strong, high‑touch client experience. This is a hybrid position based in the Minneapolis-Saint Paul metro area, with a flexible schedule that includes client and prospect meetings.We select our initial compensation target using national compensation survey data. When we make an offer, we then factor in things like tenure, performance, and geographic location to come up with the most accurate numbers. The expected pay range for this position is $200k - $250k annually. This range reflects a base salary and variable compensation; the company in good faith believes it would pay in this range for this role at the time of posting. Actual compensation within this range will depend on your qualifications, skills, and credentials, educational and professional experience and actual compensation will depend on your productivity and sales numbers and can be below or exceed the range. A full benefits suite is offered, including health and dental insurance, 401k retirement plan, paid time off and other benefits.Primary Job FunctionsManage client relationships and assist with management of complex clients to the WEG planning-based standard of identityFacilitate the financial planning processUnderstand their current financial situationEngage them in the financial planning processPrepare and conduct annual reviews, including both planning and investment topicsAssist the RVP to help close prospective clientsAssist the RVP to help close leads provided by various WEG channels (Marketing, CRP, etc.)Create opportunities within your networkDrive referrals from existing clientsManage client relationships and client service as neededTake meeting notes and promptly enter into the CRMPresent financial advice or plan to clientAnalyze client’s current investments and insurance policiesPlacing trades and account managementParticipate in Wealth Enhancement Group trainings, educational events, coaching programs, and proficient in advisor/client facing technologyAdherence to the Wealth Enhancement Group’s Corporate Communication Strategy and in good compliance standingEducation/QualificationsBachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) in business; finance, economics or related Minimum 5 consecutive years as a registered representative (IAR) holding a Series 65 or 7/ 66 or advanced designationExperience with complex financial planning (including tax, alternative investments, trust and estate)Ability to convert prospects to clients and provide high-level planning-oriented service to a fast-growing book of business Possess excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills (both oral & written) Ability to manage multiple projects at once Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
