Sterile Compounding Pharmacy TechnicianWe are hiring a Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician to prepare compounded sterile products in a cleanroom environment while following strict aseptic techniques and regulatory standards.The Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for mixing, preparing, and producing Compounded Sterile Products (CSPs), maintaining the sterile compounding area and cleanroom, and following all established SOPs under the direct supervision of a supervisor.Schedule1st Shift: 6:00 AM-2:30 PM, Monday-Friday2nd Shift: 1:00 PM-11:30 PM, Monday-ThursdayJob Type: Full-timeWork Location: In personEssential Duties & ResponsibilitiesPerform technical and aseptic manipulations in ISO 5 laminar flow hoods.Accurately compound sterile preparations in accordance with batch records.Operate sterile compounding equipment according to established policies and procedures.Perform sterile techniques, including injecting active drugs into sterile IV bags, filling syringes with medication, and pooling vials into sterile bags using a repeater pump.Complete batch records using good documentation practices and verify that medications and supplies are within expiration dates before use.Clean and maintain the compounding room and related equipment daily in accordance with SOPs and applicable state and federal regulations.Properly label and package finished products.Perform sterile compounding, production, documentation, cleaning, and other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.Collaborate with team members to meet departmental goals while maintaining compliance with SOPs, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.Follow all applicable policies, SOPs, aseptic techniques, and regulatory requirements governing 503B sterile compounding operations.Successfully complete all required annual competencies and skills validations.Minimum QualificationsLegally authorized to work in the United States.Licensed as a Pharmacy Technician in Texas through the Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP) and/or certified as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT).ACPE sterile products certification.IV compounding experience required.High school diploma or GED required.Knowledge of cGMP regulations, including 21 CFR Parts 210 and 211, as well as applicable USP standards.Ability to work a full shift while wearing a bunny suit and goggles in a sterile environment.Ability to work weekends and overtime as required.Required Experience: 3+ years of pharmacy technician experience.Benefits401(k)401(k) matchingMedical insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceLife insurancePaid time off
