Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Start Date:

• ASAP or approximately 1.5 to 2 weeks post-offer clearance

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and fill prescriptions efficiently, including insurance adjudication and rejection resolution.
• Prepare, label, and package medications for pharmacist verification.
• Perform detailed data entry and maintain accurate prescription documentation.
• Communicate clearly with patients, prescribers, and pharmacy colleagues.
• Conduct daily inventory cycle counts, restocking, and check for expired medications.
• Assist in medication returns, quarantines, and destruction procedures.
• Cross-train in multiple pharmacy functions to support department flexibility.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, Medicare/Medicaid, and insurance guidelines.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED required; education level must be verified during phone screening.
• Valid Florida Pharmacy Technician license and PTCB certification in good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a pharmacy technician, preferably with retail and call center exposure.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and comfortable making phone calls.
• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
