A 348‑bed acute care facility located approximately 13 miles northeast of downtown Los Angeles in the San Gabriel Valley, at the base of the San Gabriel Mountains. This setting offers an excellent balance of clinical complexity and growth opportunity for both seasoned and developing dietitians. The hospital maintains an average daily census of ~240 patients and includes: 40 Critical Care beds, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Bariatric Program and a 30‑bed Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit. What You'll Do Provide medical nutrition therapy utilizing the Nutrition Care Process for inpatient populations, including critical care Conduct nutrition assessments, monitoring, and follow‑up care Educate patients and families regarding acute and chronic disease management Participate in quality improvement initiatives such as meal rounds, tray audits, and patient satisfaction activitiesCollaborate closely with physicians, nursing, and ancillary staff Document care accurately in the electronic medical recordAssist with Food & Nutrition Services operations as needed What We Offer Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience. Qualifications & Requirements Minimum Education Requirement: Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) Credentials Requirement: Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
