Manufacturing Supervisor

Site SupervisorAre you a hands-on manufacturing leader who knows how to keep production moving, employees engaged, and safety and quality at the forefront?We are seeking a results-driven Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee daily plant operations, including production, staffing, quality, maintenance coordination, and shipping. This position is ideal for a strong leader who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, union manufacturing environment and enjoys solving problems, coaching employees, and improving overall performance.What You'll DoLead, coach, and motivate manufacturing employees to meet daily production goals.Schedule and assign personnel based on production priorities.Monitor workflow, productivity, staffing, and shift results.Adjust schedules and resources to resolve production challenges.Enforce company quality, safety, and manufacturing standards.Review production and quality data to identify and correct problems.Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.Coordinate production, maintenance, quality, and shipping activities.Conduct performance evaluations and provide employee coaching and corrective action when necessary.Maintain a positive working relationship with union employees while following the collective bargaining agreement.Prepare and communicate shift production summaries.Support continuous improvement efforts throughout the facility.Perform additional duties as assigned.What We're Looking ForHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Manufacturing leadership or supervisory experience preferred.Experience working in a union manufacturing environment is highly desirable.Strong leadership, coaching, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to read specifications, schematics, procedures, and equipment manuals.Knowledge of manufacturing operations, production planning, quality control, and workplace safety.Experience using Microsoft Office and ERP systems.Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.Experience operating or working around forklifts, pallet jacks, dollies, and shrink-wrap equipment.Ability to work rotating shifts, overtime, weekends, and off-shifts as business needs require.Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record required.Ability to travel domestically, including occasional overnight or air travel.Physical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb, reach, push, and pull throughout the shift.Ability to frequently lift or maneuver up to 50 pounds and occasionally move more than 65 pounds with assistance.Ability to safely climb ladders and maneuver around manufacturing equipment.Ability to work in environments that may include heat, cold, changing weather conditions, chemicals, and industrial solvents.Ability to wear all required personal protective equipment.Why Join Us?This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of plant operations, lead a hardworking manufacturing team, and make a measurable impact on safety, quality, productivity, and employee success.If you are a dependable, hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, apply today!Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
