About the Role

Are you a skilled Maintenance Technician eager to apply your expertise within a dynamic and engaging environment? We are looking for a dedicated professional to join our team, providing essential support to a prominent client in the exciting sporting goods and lifestyle industry. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless operation of critical facilities and equipment, directly contributing to our client's ability to deliver innovative products and experiences. Your work will involve diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a diverse range of systems, ensuring peak performance and minimal downtime.

This rewarding position offers a consistent Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM schedule, promoting excellent work-life balance during your week. While the majority of your time will be spent during standard business hours, this role does include an on-call rotation, typically occurring once a month for a full week. This setup provides you with the stability of a regular schedule while also allowing you to be a crucial part of our rapid response team, ensuring continuous support for our valued client.

What You'll Do

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
• Perform general commercial facilities maintenance, including plumbing repairs, light electrical work, and other routine building upkeep to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Conduct regular checks on facility assets, including doors, electrical systems, HVAC units, and plumbing fixtures.
• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion.
• Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
• Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.

What You'll Need

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
• Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
