Associate Supplier Quality Engineer

Job TitleThis role ensures efficient and effective evaluation and risk management of innovation and commercialization projects.This position works closely with the business units and cross functional teams to provide successful commercialization of new products, line extensions and product renovations within the Hydration Meals and Desserts platform. This position will support project trials, innovations, renovation and maintenance covering both internal and external manufacturing facilities. Travel required 40-55%. Candidate must be able to travel independently, have the ability to drive a vehicle, and be located near a major airport.Essential Functions & ResponsibilitiesEvaluate and conduct on-site assessments for new lines, product extensions and new equipment.Evaluate and improve existing business tools to drive efficiency in the onboarding processesSupport commercialization activitiesMonitor, track and report corrective actions and timing of follow ups from each assessmentReview copacker HACCP plans for compliance to Kraft Heinz External Manufacturers Food Safety & Quality Expectations manualCommunicate business risk to cross functional business partnersSchedule and lead Platinum Rule phone assessmentsFactory, EM or Supplier Assessment (e.g., QRMP, Platinum/Golden Rules) or Audit SupportExpected Experience & Required SkillsQuality experience within food or CPG preferredPlant quality experience in one or multiple food factoriesRegulatory Compliance familiarity with USDA, FDA or CFIA preferredFood Safety / Microbiology preferredUnderstanding of the procurement processesOur Total Rewards philosophy is to provide a meaningful and flexible spectrum of programs that equitably support our diverse workforce and their families and complement Kraft Heinz' strategy and values.New Hire Base Salary Range:$89,800.00 - $112,200.00Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factorsBenefits: Coverage for employees (and their eligible dependents) through affordable access to healthcare, protection, and saving for the future, we offer plans tailored to meet you and your family's needs.
