AHS Staffing is hiring 2 Travel RNs for ICU/Med-Surg – Grinnell, IA

Location: Grinnell, IA
Start Date: 10/12/2026
Shift: Days | 36 hours/week
Contract: 13 weeks
Pay: $2,221 Gross/Week

ICU / Stepdown

• 5 ICU beds | 3 Stepdown beds
• Patient ratio: 1:2
• Patient types: vents, BiPAP, airvo, bariatric surgery, and general surgery
• Drips: propofol, leveophed, diltiazem, insulin, and heparin

Med-Surg

• 23 beds | 1:5 patient ratio
• Patient types: Bariatric surgery, ortho, and general Med-Surg
• Drips: heparin

Requirements:

• 24 months of recent/current ICU experience required
• Med-Surg experience strongly encouraged; may float between ICU, Stepdown, and Med-Surg
• Must be comfortable caring for 2–5 patients
• Travel experience within the past 24 months required
• Epic experience required
• Active PALS and TNCC required
• NIHSS preferred (can obtain during onboarding)
• Telemetry reading and measuring required
• No on-call; every third weekend

Holiday Requirement: Unless the unit is closed, contractors must work 1–2 of the 3 upcoming winter holidays.
