Manufacturing Quality Technician

Quality TechnicianLogoplaste is currently seeking to recruit a Quality Technician, to join one of our Teams in Plainfield, IL. This is a short-term position that can evolve into a long-term opportunity. The Quality Technician will provide focused, hands on quality support and expertise for all plant related quality issues.Key Tasks & Activities:Maintain all quality control procedures and policiesProvide hands on quality support and guidance to all staffEnsure product meets customer specifications and expectationsComplete quality checks and supply quality support to all levels of the businessAssist in processing data for SAP and reporting monthly KPI informationAssist with maintaining the Integrated Management SystemStatistically analyze quality data/results to facilitate problem solvingCreate customer COA'sInvestigate and assist in determining the root cause and corrective actions for customer complaintsClose out actions from internal and external auditsConduct training if neededOrganize trials for new productsSupport and drive continuous improvement throughout the plantCoordinate and participate in rework activityManage raw material COA'sOther duties as assigned by managerWho we are looking for Background & Experience:Should be able to demonstrate strong experience in quality assurance and process improvementManufacturing experience in related industry in a quality roleTechnical Skills:Preferred Food Safety Certification (ISO 22000, ISO 22000-4, FSSC)Knowledge of Quality Management Systems such as TQM, 6-Sigma and EHS StandardsProficient with MS Word, Excel, SAPInterpersonal Skills:Ability to handle changing prioritiesAbility to work independently or within a teamProactive and creative problem solver with proven ability to multitask and manage deadlinesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsLogoplaste is an equal opportunities employer, where the foundation of our culture and our drive is based on Diversity & Inclusion.
