You work across teams to implement and advance the adoption of complex strategic global solutions that give JPMorganChase a competitive advantage.Job responsibilitiesAdvise and lead on strategy and development of multiple products, applications, and technologies across a portfolioDesign, govern, and oversee the implementation of robust, scalable, and efficient architectural solutions for cross-domain business problems, driving adoption and reuse of preferred resources, processes, and technology across domains and portfoliosLead reuse-first adoption of enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to accelerate architecture analysis, option evaluation, and delivery of strategic global solutions, with human-in-the-loop validation and appropriate handling of sensitive dataTranslate highly complex technical issues, trends, and approaches to leadership to drive the firm's innovation and enable leaders to make strategic, well-informed decisions about target state architectureAct as a liaison between Infrastructure Platform and Line of Business teams to ensure alignment and understandingDrive adoption and implementation of technical methods in specialized fields in line with the latest product development methodologies, creating durable, reusable software frameworks that improve velocity and quality of output across teams and functionsEstablish and lead an architecture governance bodyCommunicate effectively to group leadership, management, and teams throughout the companyEstablish portfolio-level guardrails for AI-assisted and agentic workflows used in architecture and engineering governance, including traceability, auditability, and control expectations aligned to resiliency and security standardsRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skillsFormal training and multiple professional-level certifications in AWS (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional) and Google Cloud (e.g., GCP Professional Cloud Architect)10+ years of applied experience with at least 5 years in a Senior, Lead, or Principal Architect role, repeatedly directing significantly large and complex architecture initiatives, developing capabilities that typically involve different stakeholders, multiple products and geographies, many solution varieties, highly regulated environments, and business transformations at mass scalePractical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stabilityExpertise in one or more programming languages, applications, and architecture disciplinesDemonstrated experience leading safe adoption of enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment across architecture workflows, including validation practices and awareness of data sensitivityAbility to evaluate and govern AI-enabled architectural patterns (including agentic workflows) with clear control boundaries, auditability, and human approval checkpoints aligned to resiliency and security expectationsDemonstrated prior experience influencing across functions and teams to deliver modern architectureExperience applying expertise and new methods to determine solutions for complex architecture problems across various technical disciplinesExtensive practical cloud-native experienceAbility to evaluate current and emerging technologies to recommend the best technology solutions and approaches to achieve the future state architecturePreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skillsBanking and financial services experience or relevant technology domain experienceExperience with governance, risk, regulatory, and compliance frameworksSkills and knowledge spanning multiple architecture domains (e.g., Business Architecture, Application/Solution Architecture, Technical/Infrastructure Architecture, and Information/Data Architecture)Deep hands-on expertise across hybrid multi-cloud environments: on-premise, AWS, and/or GCP/AzureWorking fluency in the AWS Well-Architected Framework and its application to safety- and payment-adjacent workloadsProven leadership ability to inspire teams toward common goals JPMorganChase, one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world’s most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P.
