Bridge EngineerIn this role, you will contribute to the design, analysis, and inspection of bridge structures while collaborating with our multidisciplinary team of experienced engineers, landscape architects, planners, scientists and other professional staff to deliver innovative and sustainable solutions. Our engineers work on a diverse and challenging range of state/municipal and private bridge engineering projects, including culverts and single and multi-span bridges from structural preservation to full replacement throughout the Northeast. Final agreed upon compensation will be commensurate with individual education, professional designation, experience, internal parity, and location.Full-time, permanent role with opportunities for professional growth and advancementResponsibilities:Perform structural analysis and prepare design calculationsPrepare contract documents, including plans, specifications, and estimatesManage small to large scale projectsPerform quality review of structural design calculations and contract documentsDevelop structural details and construction plans using MicroStation or AutoCADAssist or lead bridge and structure inspections and preparation of inspection reportsParticipate in meetings and presentations with clients and project team membersQualifications/Education/Memberships:Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Structural Engineering5 to 8 years' experience in the field of Structural EngineeringLicensed Professional Engineer (CT preferred or ability to get reciprocity)Demonstrated working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, knowledge of MicroStation or interest in learning a plusProblem solving skills and strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and judgment capabilitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsTeam player able to work in a collaborative environment with a diverse teamSelf-motivated with a desire to learn and growDiversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) are at the core of who we are and want to be.
