CNC Machinist

CNC MachinistFigure is an AI robotics company developing autonomous general-purpose humanoid robots. The goal of the company is to ship humanoid robots with human level intelligence. Its robots are engineered to perform a variety of tasks in the home and commercial markets. Figure is headquartered in San Jose, CA.We are looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to work in our manufacturing machine shop who will work closely with manufacturing teams to support tooling and production needs for our robot lines.Responsibilities:Assess tools and material needed for projectsProvide feedback and solutions to improve designs and create efficiencyProgram, set up and operate machines and toolsSet up and operate a CNC Lathe with live toolingSet up and operate CNC 3 axis millsSet up and operate a manual mill and latheProvide training to individuals who require use of the equipment in the shop. Including Engineers/Technicians/etcMaintain inventory of supplies and raw materials within the shopMaintain an open and safe environment where teams can collaborateDocument and track workflowPerform preventative maintenance and repair on machines and equipmentRequirements:5+ years of experience in a related industryProficient in CNC lathes and millsMust be able to work in a fast paced and collaborative environmentAbility to tackle problems in which you may not have expert knowledgeAbility to understand engineering documentationExceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication skillsSafety conscious, dependable, and a positive attitudeBonus Qualifications:Fabrication and/or welding experienceJIRAThe US base pay range for this full-time position is between $45/hr-$80/hrThe pay offered for this position may vary based on several individual factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
