Step into a vital role supporting students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth as a School Psychologist with a dedicated team near Bedford, IN. This full-time, contract opportunity allows you to leverage your expertise in psychological services while making a meaningful impact in an educational setting. Responsibilities include:
- Conducting psychoeducational and behavioral assessments for students
- Interpreting assessment findings and preparing comprehensive evaluation reports
- Attending IEP meetings and contributing to special education eligibility determinations
- Collaborating with teachers, administrators, counselors, and special education staff
- Providing direct counseling and social-emotional support as needed
- Assisting in the creation and implementation of behavioral intervention plans and student supports
- Supporting intervention frameworks like MTSS and RTI
- Consulting with families to address student needs and recommend strategies
- Keeping thorough, accurate records while adhering to established timelines
- Offering practical recommendations to empower student academic and behavioral success
Desired qualifications:
- Master’s, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Active Indiana School Psychologist license or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Previous school-based experience strongly preferred
- Proficiency in assessment tools, exceptional communication, and strong organizational talents
- Solid understanding of special education regulations and IEP development
- Confidence in managing multiple priorities, student cases, and meeting schedules
