Position Overview

Bramasol is seeking a Senior SAP S/4HANA Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of Finance-led SAP implementations and transformation initiatives. Assignments may range from short-term, focused module implementations and mid-length acquisition, transformation, and integration projects to complex, multi-workstream SAP S/4HANA enterprise migrations and greenfield implementation programs.

This is a hands-on delivery leadership role. The Senior SAP Project Manager will be accountable for client outcomes, project economics, delivery quality, scope, schedule, risk, team performance, and executive confidence. The successful candidate will actively shape project outcomes, identify emerging risks, drive decisions to closure, and establish accountability across Bramasol, client, and third-party teams using industry best practices, tools, and methodologies.

The ideal candidate understands modern SAP cloud delivery and can adapt their approach to both SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition and Public Edition engagements. They should be familiar with SAP Activate, SAP Best Practices, Clean Core principles, and the demonstration-led fit-to-standard workshop model. While the Project Manager is not expected to lead detailed functional demonstrations within Finance-led projects, they must understand the core principles of SAP financial solutions and how these workshops should operate to ensure that decisions, gaps, dependencies, and business impacts are properly governed.

This individual will also have the opportunity to influence Bramasol’s broader delivery capability by strengthening project-management practices, mentoring project leaders, and helping the organization build a more consistent, scalable, and tool-driven delivery model.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of SAP engagements, including full SAP S/4HANA implementations, focused module implementations, major workstreams, or multiple concurrent smaller projects.
\n
• Establish and maintain an integrated project plan covering applicable functional, technical, integration, data, security, testing, organizational-readiness, cutover, go-live, and stabilization activities.
\n
• Adapt governance, reporting, documentation, and meeting structures to the size, complexity, and risk of each engagement without creating unnecessary administrative overhead.
\n
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, resource plans, forecasts, estimate-to-complete, risks, issues, dependencies, quality, and change control.
\n
• Ensure that project status, estimates, forecasts, and reporting accurately reflect actual delivery conditions.
\n
• Use appropriate project-management tools and methodologies to create transparency, traceability, and execution discipline throughout the engagement.
\n
• Identify emerging delivery risks early, develop practical mitigation or recovery plans, and escalate significant issues with clear options and recommendations.
\n
• Drive project actions, decisions, risks, issues, and client commitments to timely closure.
\n
• Lead project-governance forums, executive status reviews, steering committee meetings, and major decision discussions.
\n
• Build trusted relationships with client executives, project sponsors, business leaders, workstream leads, and delivery teams.
\n
• Communicate difficult project messages directly and professionally while maintaining client confidence and trust.
\n
• Translate complex SAP delivery issues into clear business implications, decisions, and recommended actions.
\n
• Partner with functional, technical, data, integration, and architecture leaders to incorporate solution decisions and workstream dependencies into the overall delivery plan.
\n
• Ensure that fit-to-standard and SAP Best Practice–led delivery activities are properly planned, attended, documented, and translated into clear decisions, gaps, actions, scope implications, and delivered functionality.
\n
• Recognize when project teams are guiding clients toward SAP standard processes versus reverting to traditional requirements gathering or unnecessarily recreating legacy processes.
\n
• Ensure that deviations from SAP Best Practices, extensibility requirements, and material design decisions are appropriately evaluated, approved, estimated, and governed.
\n
• Ensure that Finance process decisions are appropriately reflected in downstream integration, data migration, testing, reporting, change-management, and operational-readiness activities.
\n
• Partner with Professional Services and Sales leadership to manage project financial performance, protect margin, address forecast variances, and control out-of-scope activity.
\n
• Support presales activities by contributing to estimates, staffing plans, delivery approaches, schedules, assumptions, risks, and statements of work.
\n
• Mentor project managers, workstream leads, and consultants in delivery discipline, client communication, judgment, accountability, and effective use of project-management tools.
\n
• Capture lessons learned and reusable project assets and contribute to improvements in Bramasol’s governance, estimation, reporting, methodologies, and project-management practices.
\n

Required Skills and Experience

\n
• Eight or more years of SAP solution-delivery experience.
\n
• Five or more years of direct SAP project-management, engagement-management, or program-delivery experience.
\n
• Working understanding of SAP Finance functionality and the role Finance processes play in end-to-end S/4HANA design and delivery.
\n
• Demonstrated experience personally leading an SAP S/4HANA implementation through multiple major lifecycle phases, such as planning, design, build, testing, cutover, go-live, or stabilization.
\n
• Experience leading focused SAP module implementations, major project workstreams, or multiple concurrent smaller SAP engagements.
\n
• Experience managing integrated delivery across functional, technical, data, integration, testing, cutover, and business-readiness activities.
\n
• Practical experience applying SAP Activate, including project planning, phase governance, quality gates, testing, cutover, and stabilization.
\n
• Familiarity with the demonstration-led fit-to-standard approach used in SAP cloud implementations and the respective responsibilities of functional consultants, client process owners, project leadership, and architecture teams.
\n
• SAP delivery depth sufficient to understand cross-functional dependencies, constructively challenge workstream plans, and recognize implementation risk.
\n
• Experience managing project scope, budgets, resource plans, schedules, forecasts, estimate-to-complete, risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
\n
• Experience using modern project-management tools such as SAP Cloud ALM, Jira, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or comparable platforms to manage project execution.
\n
• Experience leading client governance and communicating project health, risks, decisions, and recommendations to executive stakeholders.
\n
• Strong understanding of consulting project economics and the relationship between project delivery, scope control, utilization, forecasting, and margin.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to hold internal and client teams accountable and address missed commitments directly.
\n
• Strong executive presence and excellent written communication, presentation, facilitation, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
\n
• Sound judgment, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to investigate assumptions, estimates, project status, and root causes.
\n
• Ability to lead distributed, remote, cross-functional, and third-party project teams.

Preferred Qualifications

\n
• Direct project-management experience across both SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition and Public Edition.
\n
• Experience managing RISE with SAP and/or GROW with SAP engagements.
\n
• Experience with SAP Finance, Controlling, Revenue Accounting and Reporting, Project Systems, or other Finance-led SAP implementations.
\n
• Working understanding of SAP Clean Core principles and their implications for process standardization, extensions, integrations, data, and operations.
\n
• Experience with SAP Cloud ALM and, for Public Edition projects, SAP Central Business Configuration.
\n
• Prior experience in an SAP functional, technical, data, architecture, or workstream-lead role.
\n
• Experience supporting SAP presales, estimation, staffing, delivery planning, and statement-of-work development.
\n
• Experience mentoring other project managers or improving PMO standards, project-governance practices, or project-management tool adoption.
\n
• PMP, SAP Activate (or comparable project-management certification) and/or SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private/Public Edition Financial Accounting certifications a plus.
\n
• Experience working in a mid-sized consulting organization where senior delivery leaders assume multiple responsibilities.
