Hiring: Radiologic Technologist / CT Tech Facility Name: Kern Valley Healthcare District Facility Address: 6412 Laurel Ave, Lake Isabella, CA 93240 Shift Information: Day Shift | 12 Hour Shifts | SMT one week / MTW next week Number of Weeks: 13 (extendable) Guaranteed Hours: min 36/week Overtime available starts after 40 hours Pay Package Details Hourly Rate: $77/HR OT/Holiday Rate: $110/HR Weekly Gross: $2772 based on 36 hours JD Position Summary: Kern Valley Healthcare District is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist / CT Tech for a 13-week contract assignment. The ideal candidate will be proficient in both CT and Diagnostic Radiology while providing exceptional patient care and producing high-quality diagnostic images in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities: Perform a wide range of CT and Diagnostic X-ray procedures Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging examinations Accurately position patients and select appropriate technical factors Acquire and process digital images using PACS (ERAD) Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Perform routine equipment maintenance and quality control checks Follow all radiation safety and imaging protocols Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals Perform assigned on-call duties if required Requirements: Active California Radiologic Technologist License required ARRT(R) certification required ARRT(CT) certification preferred Minimum 2 years of CT experience preferred Experience with GE CT and Diagnostic X-ray equipment preferred Current BLS certification required Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work independently in a clinical setting
