GPS is hiring a Warehouse Associate for an established agricultural distributor in Orangeburg, SC!

• Starting Pay : $16.50 per hour
• Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Flexibility to start at 7:30 AM
• Temporary Assignment : August through December.

What You Will Do:

• Operate a standard sit-down forklift to load and unload trucks.
• Stage, move, and store products throughout the warehouse.
• Transport materials safely and efficiently to designated locations.
• Assist with inventory activities as directed.
• Read and interpret pick sheets to identify designated seed selections.
• Load seeds into a mixing/blending machine.
• Place bags on the machine for product filling.
• Remove filled bags manually and place them on a forklift for transportation and storage.

Requirements:

• Previous warehouse experience required.
• Prior sit-down forklift experience required.
• Ability to read and follow pick lists accurately.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs regularly.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop throughout the workday.
• Stable and reliable work history.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.

A drug-free workplace and a criminal background check is required.
