Lab Support Tech - Multiple Shifts

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Lab Support Technician for its GMP microbiology laboratory in Middleton, Wisconsin. The role involves supporting daily laboratory operations, maintaining equipment and documentation, and performing technical tasks under supervision across multiple shift options.
Responsibilities
- Maintain compliant laboratory documentation and ensure equipment and work areas remain clean, sterile, and operational
- Operate laboratory equipment routinely and perform assigned technical tasks accurately and timely
- Support various laboratory teams including metrology, sample entry, and stability functions
- Communicate task status and updates to laboratory manager or designee
- Follow all standard operating procedures and Good Laboratory Practices in assigned duties
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certificate may be required
- 0–1 year related laboratory experience or equivalent education and training combination
- Ability to follow laboratory safety procedures and adhere to SOPs and GLPs
- Attention to detail and strong data recording skills
- Capacity to lift 40 pounds without assistance
- Effective communication and collaborative teamwork abilities
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
