HR Compliance Specialist

HR Compliance Specialist Location: Corporate office, Durham, NC (1701 TW Alexander Dr., Durham, NC 27703). Salary: $55,000 annually, full-time salaried position. Description Seeking a human resources specialist for the Corporate office of GIENC® located in Durham, NC. The primary focus of this position is to ensure compliance with applicable employment law, including but not limited to hiring and firing, and the management of state and federal programs related to illness, disability, and/or attendance. Responsibilities Ensure compliance with applicable employment law, including hiring and firing procedures. Manage state and federal programs as they relate to illness, disability, and attendance. Qualifications Four‑year degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Industrial Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited university or college. Four years of direct, applicable HR experience (may satisfy educational requirements). PHR or SPHR preferred but not required. Computer literate, organized, and detail-oriented.
