We help keep this nation and our allies secure and we need your expertise to deliver amazing new technologies to our customers while maintaining the technical requirements of the strategic deterrence.The Lockheed Martin FBM Program is seeking an experienced and skilled Embedded Systems Engineer - Requirements & Verification to join our embedded Systems Engineering Team.Perform requirements writing, technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for package level systems, including batteries and power systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.The information below reflects the standard job description for this position Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Basic QualificationsSome Engineering or technical experience required.Active Secret Clearance required prior to startAbility to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret Security Clearance - U.S. Citizenship RequiredAbility to work in a closed area.Desired SkillsBachelors degree from an accredited college in Engineering or related technical disciplineExperience in Systems Engineering, specifically in the areas of requirements, verification, and/or Systems IntegrationEffective communication skills, including ability to explain complex concepts, lead reviews, and negotiate requirementsExperience integrating across functional organizations.MS Office software including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and/or ProjectExperience with DOORS, DOORS Next, or other requirement management toolExperience with, or on, the FBM program, working with the Navy, or Submarine exposure is highly desiredProficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice.Self-starter, able to complete work with general directionPay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $79300.00 - $147300.00At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
