Client Services and Operations Manager for High End Workplace Catering

We (Componere Culinary and Events) recently launched a workplace catering division, called Pepita Catering, for small-to-mid size boutique firms that want the best for their teams. Like Componere, Pepita focuses on chef-driven, seasonal cuisine prepared with care. We're very different that the typical corporate workplace caterer and want to stay that way! Key Responsibilities Communicate regularly with high level clients to maintain a strong relationship and high level of satisfaction Participate in prospective client meetings Communicate client preferences and requests to chefs Manage logistics including delivery timing and staff scheduling Streamline operations and develop SOPs Required 3+ years in Michelin starred restaurants or other hospitality setting where excellence is required, prefer at least 2 years in a management Attitude of caring about the quality of your work, your colleagues, and our clients Proven experience managing catering logistics at scale: multiple simultaneous orders, delivery routing, and time-critical execution. Strong understanding of menu planning and dietary/allergen requirements Excellent client-facing communication; calm, solutions-oriented, and credible under pressure. Food safety certification (e.g., ServSafe Manager) or ability to obtain within 60 days. Comfort with scheduling and spreadsheet tools; able to track and report on KPIs. Valid driver's license; willingness to be on-site early and travel between client locations across the Bay Area and the Berkeley kitchen. Preferred Track record of managing and retaining B2B accounts, you can lead client meetings, build solutions-oriented proposals, and grow long-term partnerships. Experience in the SF Bay Area corporate catering market and familiarity with workplace catering.
