Job Overview Hourly Rate: $19.10. As a Safety & Security Officer at Marriott Vacations Worldwide, you will assist in ensuring the safety and security of Owners and guests across our resorts. Full‑time position on 1st/2nd shift, available during weekends and holidays. Responsibilities Patrol all areas of the property by foot or vehicle using specified equipment. Administer first aid and CPR to Owners/guests or associates as required. Ensure Owners/guests and meeting rooms remain secure and assist with room access. Monitor closed‑circuit television (CCTV), perimeter alarm systems, duress alarms, and fire life safety systems. Respond to accidents and determine if emergency aid is required. Defuse disturbances or altercations following company policies and procedures. Handle lost and found items, logging and returning them. Utilize computer systems, prepare and review written documents accurately and completely; answer the phone with proper etiquette. Oversee OSHA & FLS violations to mitigate safety risks throughout the property. Welcome and greet guests, anticipate and address their needs, and interact professionally and promptly with colleagues. Contribute to team goals and always follow company policies and safety procedures. Qualifications Valid U.S. driver's license active for at least one year. Availability to work various shifts, including holidays and both weekend days. Physical ability to reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping; able to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods. Ability to lift/carry/push/pull items weighing up to 50 lbs without assistance. Background and drug screening may be required in accordance with company policy and legal requirements.
