Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Physical Therapist - Home Health - Creve Coeur, MO

A licensed Physical Therapist will provide in-home therapy services to patients across the lifespan. The clinician will evaluate functional status, develop and implement individualized plans of care, document progress, instruct patients and caregivers in safe mobility and equipment use, and collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members. The role requires travel within the local service area and the ability to work a flexible schedule to meet patient needs.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current state Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment. (MO license required for work in this state).
• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an APTAapproved program.
• Proof of current CPR certification required.
• Current driver's license, reliable transportation, and vehicle insurance required.
• 1-2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist in an acute care or rehabilitation setting required.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting, bending, pulling, pushing, prolonged standing and walking as required for inhome care.
• Ability to travel locally and float within the service area as needed.
• Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous home health experience preferred.
