• Contract Duration: 6 months (with potential for extension or conversion)

• Pay Rate: $52.00 $62.00 / Hour (USD)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to deliver strategic insight into business systems through complex analysis, reporting, and operational activities for Factoring Business applications. As background, our client is one of the largest banks in the country with over 17,000 employees and more than $200 billion in assets, offering a wide range of general banking and commercial financial services.

The Business Systems Analyst will be required to work closely with Product Owners, Delivery Leads, Operations, and Technology teams across the organization to define requirements for existing and/or new applications with focus on the modernization of legacy systems. The Business Systems Analyst will serve as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for assigned systems to deliver business requirements, implement appropriate specifications, and will monitor for compliance and effectiveness. The ideal candidate will assist in identifying and resolving process issues which may involve system testing or development. Many of the client's systems are homegrown, so you will quickly come up to speed to serve as an analyst and point of contact for all systems in their ecosystem.

Required Experience

• 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Operations Support, or Analytics.

Required Skills

• Familiarity with software integrations, including fluency in understanding API documentation and common integration patterns.
• Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VBA/Macros, and Power Query.
• Experience reading and writing basic SQL or Python queries.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in banking/financial services industry.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across business, data, and technology teams.
