Clinical Nurse II

Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Med/Surg/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Valid state or compact license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS or Stroke Certification Must-Have: - Minimum of 2 years of experience in Med/Surg or Telemetry - Required certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS or Stroke Certification - Flu vaccine required

Description: The position requires a registered nurse with experience in Med/Surg and Telemetry. Candidates must hold a valid state or compact license and relevant certifications. Weekend shifts are required, with every other weekend mandated. The nurse will care for adult and geriatric patients with various diagnoses. Patient ratios will be 1:6. Key skills include managing dysrhythmias, telemetry monitoring, and IV management. Flu vaccines are mandatory, with no exemptions or declinations accepted. Travel nurses must pass an EKG/Telemetry exam on-site during orientation. Attendance is monitored, and up to three absences are allowed during the contract. Candidates must provide a supervisory reference from within the last year. Compliance with all documentation deadlines is essential.
