Industrial Account Executive

Tradesmen International is hiring an Industrial Account Executive to grow and manage an assigned sales territory within the industrial, manufacturing and production space. This is an outside sales role: you'll be in the field daily, building relationships with plant, facility, and manufacturing clients, generating new business, and growing existing accounts. Uncapped commission means your earning potential grows directly with your results. What You'll Do Prospect, cold call, and canvass within your assigned territory to generate new business and grow current accounts across industrial, manufacturing, and production clients Make direct sales calls and presentations to plant managers, facility managers, and HR managers at their place of business Educate prospects and clients on the value of a skilled, variable workforce and how it improves productivity and profitability Partner closely with our internal Project Coordinators to communicate client staffing needs and ensure the right craftworkers are matched to each order — often across high-volume or specialized trade requirements Maintain and exceed quarterly sales goals and growth targets, understanding that industrial sales cycles can run longer given the scale and specialization involved Build and maintain relationships with client senior management, office personnel, and jobsite superintendents Manage the full client lifecycle: registration, onboarding, ongoing satisfaction checks, and issue resolution Support field employees by preparing them for assignments, checking in after dispatch, and maintaining visibility into jobsite placements Track sales activity and maintain client records in Salesforce CRM Represent Tradesmen at trade shows, industry associations, and networking events to build referral relationships Report directly to your local General Manager and collaborate on territory strategy and account planning What You Bring 1+ year of experience in outside sales, territory sales, or B2B sales (industrial, manufacturing, or staffing industry experience a plus) Product-line or industry knowledge preferred; experience in plant maintenance, manufacturing, or job shop environments a plus Proven experience cold calling, canvassing a territory, and generating new business leads Ability to convert prospects and close deals while managing a sales quota and a longer, more complex sales cycle Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the resilience to overcome objections in industrial sales settings Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently in the field Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce experience preferred) Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Regular and predictable attendance; Why Tradesmen International Tradesmen International is committed to supporting our employees with a comprehensive benefits package including: Annual salary with uncapped commission Monthly auto reimbursement Company matched 401(k) PTO and paid holidays Medical, dental, and vision coverage Short-term disability Voluntary supplemental life insurance Build a sales career where your hustle writes your paycheck — join a team that's fueling the growth of North America's premier industrial skilled trades workforce. The salary for this position is $70,000. Employees in this position are also eligible for commissions, provided the employee meets the requirements of the applicable commission plan.
