Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor and Delivery
This position involves providing care to laboring mothers, assisting with deliveries, and ensuring immediate and post-delivery care for both the mother and newborn. The candidate will be responsible for using a computerized system, specifically Meditech, as well as a fetal monitoring system (GE/Centricity).
General Duties and Responsibilities
- Care for laboring mothers and assist during delivery
- Provide immediate care for newborns
- Administer post-delivery care for mothers
Equipment Utilized
- Computerized system: Meditech
- Fetal monitoring system: GE/Centricity
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of labor and delivery experience
- Current certifications: BLS & NRP (Required)
- Recommended certifications: STABLE & Advanced FM
Shift Information
This position requires variable shifts, including day and night shifts. The schedule consists of 12-hour shifts, totaling 36 hours per week after the first week of orientation. All staff are expected to be available for scheduled 12-hour call at least once per month. Please note that there is no guarantee of hours or shift preference.
