Join an enterprise technology organization that is making a significant investment in AI agents and intelligent automation across business applications. The team is expanding an internal AI platform and rolling out practical agent-based capabilities designed to improve how work is performed across multiple enterprise functions.

This role will partner closely with enterprise application leaders, business stakeholders, technical teams, and an experienced AI implementation partner to move defined AI-agent use cases from development through rollout. The environment is evolving from more traditional delivery methods toward a faster Agile model, creating an opportunity for someone who can bring structure, momentum, and strong execution to emerging-technology initiatives.

What's In Store For You

• Primarily remote opportunity with onsite collaboration in Bridgewater, New Jersey approximately 2–3 times per month
• Initial contract expected to run for approximately six months, with potential for extension based on performance and continued AI-agent roadmap
• Engagement: W2 only (no C2C/1099)
• Initial ownership of two AI-agent implementations, with scope expected to expand to approximately four concurrent agents
• High visibility with Enterprise Applications leadership, PMO partners, technical stakeholders, and external implementation teams

How You Will Make An Impact

• Drive delivery of multiple AI-agent initiatives from defined requirements through development, testing, implementation, rollout, and transition to support.
• Initially manage two concurrent AI-agent implementations, with scope expected to grow to approximately four as the roadmap expands.
• Lead delivery using Agile methods, including daily Scrum meetings, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, demonstrations, retrospectives, and iterative feedback cycles.
• Maintain clear delivery plans, milestones, sprint goals, dependencies, resources, risks, issues, decisions, actions, and accountable owners.
• Partner with internal Enterprise Applications teams and external AI implementation partners to maintain momentum and delivery accountability.
• Coordinate work across architecture, integrations, data, cloud/infrastructure, cybersecurity, privacy, governance, and business stakeholders.
• Identify blockers, technical dependencies, resource constraints, and delivery risks early and drive them toward timely resolution.
• Translate defined business outcomes into actionable delivery plans, backlogs, user stories, technical tasks, and measurable success criteria.
• Hold internal teams and external vendors accountable for sprint commitments, deliverables, timelines, and agreed decisions.
• Support testing, production readiness, deployment, cutover, hypercare, and transition-to-support activities.
• Provide concise, action-oriented updates to leadership, PMO stakeholders, technical teams, and business sponsors.
• Step into delivery gaps when needed rather than operating within a narrowly defined project-management role.
• Help continuously improve the operating model used to deliver future AI-agent initiatives.

Are You an Experienced AI Delivery Professional Ready to Make an Impact?

• 7+ years of IT project management, program management, or technology-delivery experience in complex enterprise environments.
• Demonstrated experience delivering AI, Generative AI, AI-agent, intelligent automation, or similar emerging-technology initiatives.
• Strong preference for candidates who have personally managed AI-agent development or rollout initiatives.
• Strong Agile/Scrum delivery experience, including hands-on facilitation of daily Scrum meetings, sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews/demos, retrospectives, and iterative release cycles.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent technology initiatives with overlapping resources, dependencies, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Sufficient technical fluency to work effectively with architects, engineers, developers, data teams, security teams, and implementation partners.
• Working knowledge of AI-agent delivery concepts, APIs, integrations, enterprise data, identity/access, security, testing, monitoring, and production support.
• Strong experience managing risks, issues, dependencies, decisions, actions, and delivery accountability.
• Experience coordinating external vendors, implementation partners, SOW commitments, milestones, deliverables, and escalations.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to operate independently after onboarding and organizational orientation.
• Willingness to step beyond traditional PM responsibilities when delivery gaps need to be addressed.
• PMP certification strongly preferred.
• PMI-ACP, Certified ScrumMaster, SAFe, or similar Agile certification is a plus.
• Pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, or regulated-industry experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to travel onsite to Bridgewater, New Jersey approximately 2–3 times per month.
