Construction Superintendent

RJS Construction provides construction services to government agencies throughout Oregon and Washington. Candidates must have a minimum of five years of commercial construction experience and be able to plan, supervise, and complete new building and remodel projects from start to finish. Experience with federal construction is helpful. Candidates must be physically fit, able to lift 50 pounds, and capable of inspecting job sites. Safety leadership is required, including the organization of safety meetings. Communication with owners’ representatives, architects, engineers, and inspectors is essential. Weekly progress meetings must be held, and candidates should follow a master schedule and maintain a 3‑week look‑ahead schedule. Benefits include two weeks of paid vacation per year, 40 hours of sick pay, and health and dental insurance. Mileage will be reimbursed at the current government rate or a company vehicle may be assigned. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of commercial construction experience. Experience in constructing new buildings and remodeling existing ones. Journeyman carpentry skills. Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand or walk for long periods.
