POLICE OFFICER (PART-TIME) Posting Date: Open Until Filled Facility: Cole Administration Center Location: Aurora, IL Hours: Monday - Sunday – shifts vary depending on schedule. Evenings, holidays, and weekends required. Maximum of 1,000 hours annually. Rate: $35/hour minimum, depending on qualifications. Type: Part-Time Responsibilities Provide protection of life and property. Maintain regular patrols. Assist in crime prevention. Conduct investigations of crimes. Provide public assistance. Perform other related duties as required. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. At least two years of law enforcement experience as a Police Officer. Must possess a basic Police Officer certificate in the State of Illinois or be able to become re-certified within three months of appointment.
