Qualified candidates for a Social Worker position will have:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Social Work and nursing home social work experience preferred.
- MDS experience preferred.
- Experience with residents who have memory impairment preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills required.
- Knowledge of concerns and challenges specific to the geriatric population.
- Ability to engage families in the care planning process and assist them in developing skills for coping with the unique challenges associated with the aging of a loved one.
- Must be willing to work every sixth weekend.
