CT Technologist - Float Team

Role: CT Technologist supporting a mobile imaging team across multiple facilities within Region Two, including Douglas Medical Center, Cobb Hospital, and Paulding Medical Center. Responsibilities Perform CT exams according to physician orders, protocols, and safety standards. Verify patient identity, obtain medical history, and screen for contraindications, including contrast risks. Communicate procedures clearly with empathy using AIDET; assist with patient positioning and mobility. Establish IV access and administer contrast media safely, monitoring for adverse reactions. Operate CT scanners and injectors safely, ensuring proper imaging techniques and dose optimization. Evaluate image quality, recognize urgent findings, and elevate concerns appropriately. Accurately document procedures, manage RIS and PACS uploads, and perform quality control checks. Support daily operations, maintain equipment, and adhere to regulatory standards and safety protocols. Qualifications & Skills High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. At least 2 years of hospital-based radiologic technologist experience and 2 years specifically in CT. Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), and BLS from the American Heart Association.
