Part Time paid internship position Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm. 20-30 hours a week The Accounting Intern provides financial and clerical support to Newman Regional Health as a temporary, entry level accounting position. This position practices accounting knowledge and skills in a professional setting under the supervision of the Controller. Essential Functions Provide support for the accounting department Participate in the preparation of journal entries and financial reports Assist with general accounting month-end closing procedures Complete special projects as needed and other duties assigned Skills & Abilities Education-Bachelor's Degree required with Field of Study in Accounting Recent graduate or in the process of completing an Accounting degree About Newman Regional Health: Centrally located within the city of Emporia, Newman Regional Health is a 25-bed non-profit critical access hospital owned by the people of Lyon County.
