Job Description AriensCo is seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Buyer at our Brillion, WI location. The role involves managing the execution of material purchasing to support Ariens production and service requirements, and maintaining and enhancing supplier relationships in line with Ariens Core Values. Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities Execute and manage supplier purchase orders to achieve production build plans and service levels. Communicate expectations and priorities clearly with suppliers. Ensure suppliers adhere to Ariens SOP for order acknowledgement, required delivery dates, packaging, labeling, and shipping processes. Maintain supplier ship‑from locations and oversee purchased material delivery to locations. Manage purchasing requirements for product changes and new product introductions. Partner with internal stakeholders and suppliers to drive continuous improvement in on‑time delivery, supplier PPM, inbound freight expenses, and inventory turns. Determine optimal inbound flow and locations for purchased materials (supermarkets, off‑site warehouses) to reduce total cost while managing inventory. Manage supplier returns and resolve inbound quality issues in a timely manner together with internal stakeholders and supplier. Resolve receiving and invoicing discrepancies promptly to ensure inventory accuracy and timely supplier payment within agreed terms. Manage purchased parts inventory, including disposition of slow‑moving, excess, or obsolete items. Execute assigned metrics reporting related to purchased materials: supplier metrics, inventory metrics, dashboards, etc. Involve Strategic Sourcing with forecast updates, supplier contract issues, quality and delivery issues that require escalation. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four‑year college or university with emphasis in supply chain, purchasing, or operations management. Minimum of 3 years related experience, or a minimum of 8 years of experience in lieu of a degree. Authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
