As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and use technology to document activity. Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, sorting and distribution spaces, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter.
• Monitor access to the logistics and distribution location, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and report unusual activity or access concerns.
• Document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have customer service experience preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
