Description – What You'll Be Doing

• Conduct both routine and complex clinical laboratory tests—including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more—in accordance with established protocols.
• Assess the accuracy of results, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and perform routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection as required and prepare samples for analysis.
• Thoroughly document all laboratory procedures, mentor new staff and students, and ensure compliance with laboratory quality standards.
• Uphold a clean and safe working environment while adhering to all regulatory guidelines and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of hire.
• Keep certifications current throughout your employment.
