The firm helps clients navigate complex business regulations, compliance obligations, and industry requirements. In addition to corporate advisory services, Aspen Legal Services provides representation in litigation and mediation matters. Team members collaborate across practice areas to deliver balanced, client-centered legal support. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Law Clerk role based in Sandy, UT. The Law Clerk will assist attorneys with legal research, case analysis, and preparation of memoranda, motions, and other legal documents across Health Law, Business Law, Employment Law, and Civil Litigation matters. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing and organizing case files, summarizing records, drafting correspondence, and supporting discovery and trial preparation. The Law Clerk will help maintain accurate documentation, track case deadlines, and coordinate with internal team members to ensure timely completion of tasks. The role may also involve communicating with clients or external parties under attorney supervision and contributing to firm process improvements. Qualifications Strong foundation in Law, with familiarity or interest in Health Law, Business Law, Employment Law, and Civil Litigation. Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting pleadings, motions, memoranda, and client correspondence. Advanced Research skills using legal databases and other authoritative sources, with ability to synthesize and organize findings. Effective Writing skills, including clear, concise, and precise legal writing tailored to different audiences and purposes. Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders. Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management, with the ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines. Proficiency with standard office and legal software tools (e.g., word processing, document management, and legal research platforms). Current law student or graduate from an accredited law school preferred; prior law firm or legal internship experience is beneficial.
