Leasing Agent Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Leasing Agent to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining property occupancy, marketing available units, and delivering excellent service to both property owners and tenants. You’ll play a key role in creating a positive experience for residents while supporting day-to-day office operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate records of prospective and current landlords and tenants in the database
• Conduct property inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
• Market available units and perform property tours for prospective tenants
• Screen applicants to ensure they meet leasing requirements
• Process lease applications and assist with verification procedures
• Communicate application results to prospective tenants
• Perform move-in and move-out inspections
• Address tenant questions, concerns, and service requests professionally
• Organize and maintain leasing documentation and files
• Collect rent payments, security deposits, and applicable fees

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Customer service or leasing experience preferred
• Detail-oriented with a professional attitude
• Ability to balance tenant satisfaction with property owner goals
• Yardi experience a plus

Salary- $36,000 -$40,000 depending on experience
