Position: Medical Assistant Flu Clinic



Job Type: 9-Week Contract



Schedule: Monday Friday | 3 12-Hour Day Shifts | 6:00 AM 6:00 PM



Hours: 36 Hours/Week Guaranteed



Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma



Setting: Flu Clinic / Employee Health



Position Type: Local / Non-Traveler

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist providers with patient examinations, treatments, and procedures.
• Administer medications and intramuscular injections as directed.
• Record vital signs, medications, medical history, and patient information.
• Perform venipuncture and other ancillary services as required.
• Maintain accurate medical records and clinical documentation.
• Assist with patient education and wellness activities.
• Track tests, referrals, and appointments.
• Support care coordination and scheduling.
• Follow OSHA, HIPAA, safety, and Health System policies.
• Provide excellent patient service and support the Employee Health team.

Qualifications:

• BLS certification required.
• Previous experience administering injections required.
• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Completion of an approved Medical Assistant program OR 1 year of related experience within the last 5 years may substitute for completion of an approved MA program.
• New graduates are accepted.
• Strong patient-care and communication skills.
• Good computer, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Local candidates only Non-Traveler position.
• Candidates cannot have a medical marijuana card.
