Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN with expertise in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) nursing for a travel assignment in Charlotte, NC. This role is ideally suited to RNs with 18 months of PCU experience. The work environment includes a blend of MedSurg and Progressive Care units, providing an engaging and varied professional experience.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - PCU

• Administer care for patients with heart failure, chest pain, and stroke-like symptoms
• Manage patients with general medical conditions such as sepsis, renal and respiratory failure
• Conduct cardiac rhythm interpretation and provide stroke care
• Perform PIV starts, trach care, and chest tube management
• Handle medication management including cardiac drips, insulin, and Heparin

Requirements of the RN - PCU

• 18 months of PCU experience required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Proficient in general PCU skillset and medication gtt management
