Responsibilities Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for civil construction projects including utilities, paving, grading, and site development Review project plans, specifications, and proposals to determine scope and requirements Solicit and evaluate quotes from vendors and subcontractors Collaborate with project managers and field teams to ensure estimates align with actual job requirements Analyze historical data, unit pricing, and production rates to improve estimating accuracy Assist with bid strategy, value engineering, and project handoff to operations Qualifications 3+ years of estimating and/or project management experience at a civil or sitework contractor Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and cost structures for utility, paving, and sitework projects Proficient in estimating software and Excel Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously This is a great opportunity for an estimator who enjoys being part of a tight-knit team, values accuracy and collaboration, and wants to grow with a stable and respected contractor.
