HOW YOU'LL HELP DRIVE THE FUTURE OF NATURAL GAS?

The Night Dispatch Analyst will analyze and dispatch daily workload for field technicians and contractors, ensuring route accuracy and proper dissemination of work. The role verifies schedules and resources to deliver timely and reliable service, employs independent judgment to dispatch efficiently to respond to emergencies, urgent, and non‑emergency work orders, prioritizes tasks by urgency, and ensures all orders are completed and customer appointments kept on time. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate information in the Work and Asset Management (WAM) Business System and supporting Operations personnel and other departments such as Customer Experience, Meter Services, and Billing & Collections.

NIGHT SHIFT HOURS

10:30 pm – 7:30 am, Monday – Friday (5 days a week)

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution. Minimum of four (4) years of related support work experience in an engineering, construction, or utility environment, including coordination and dispatch of work orders or complex tasks. Effective teamwork in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment. Clear oral and written communication skills. Alignment of work completion with business goals. Ability to read and comprehend policies, procedures, and instructions. Good judgment, prioritization, independent work, and multitasking orientation.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Dispatch daily workload for field technicians and contractors, ensuring route accuracy and appropriate distribution of work. Ensure accurate completion of work orders, updating records in a timely fashion. Maintain communications with Customer Experience, Operations Management, Scheduler‑Coordinators, and Centralized Dispatchers regarding work order issues. Create, assign, update, and correct work orders in SAP, WebIC, ISU, FIORI, and WAM Business System. Meet work deadlines for daily tracking and shifting of field technicians to meet customer appointments and high‑priority work. Interface with customers and customer service personnel regarding appointments and field issues; investigate and recommend timely resolutions in collaboration with Operations. Maintain customer Gas Service Agreements and New Construction move‑ins in SAP and WAM. Provide coverage of the gas dispatch hotline to support Customer Experience and field technicians, managing safe and rapid emergency work order response. Interface regularly with the Scheduler‑Coordinator to create short‑term work plans. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as needed.

WHAT WILL GIVE YOU A COMPETITIVE EDGE?

Associate’s or two‑year technical degree, or relevant technical certification may be considered in lieu of up to two years of experience. Bachelor’s degree may be considered in lieu of up to four years of experience. Minimum of four (4) years of experience in the natural gas industry. Proven leadership on projects and assignments of complexity and diversity. Demonstrated experience in SAP. Independent, self‑motivated, organized work habits with ability to meet time‑sensitive deadlines. Proficient use of computer hardware and software for spreadsheets, data manipulation/analysis, and producing graphics and presentations. SQL, report development skills (SQL/Oracle/Access). Working knowledge of rules and regulations pertaining to the natural gas industry. Knowledge of SharePoint, FSM, WAM, Excel, Power BI, Microsoft Teams, SAP, WebIC, FIORI, and ISU systems. Familiarity with PGS administrative policies, Customer Experience, local PGS Operations procedures, and geographic territory. Knowledge of work order types, terminology, and physical fulfillment requirements.

WHO WILL BE A PART OF YOUR TEAM?

Interfacing with all levels of Company personnel; primary relationships with Operations, Customer Experience, Meter Services, Billing, Safety, and Scheduler‑Coordinators. Interaction with customers, contractors, emergency and non‑emergency agencies.

WHERE AND HOW YOU'LL WORK?

Weekly shifts with occasional overtime in a fast‑paced operations office or home if deemed necessary. Moderate stress level. Occasional travel may be required. Vision 20/40 or correctable. Physically capable of working indoor/outdoor environments. Ability to sit or stand for 12‑hour shifts.

STORM DUTY REQUIREMENTS

TECO Energy and its companies may require employees to participate in emergency response and recovery activities to maintain service to TECO Energy customers. Employees must perform normal job duties or other assigned activities and are compensated according to company policies.

PRE‑EMPLOYMENT SCREENING
