Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments, executing physical exams and revisiting medical histories
• Assist in diagnosing and evaluating surgical conditions while interpreting imaging reports and lab findings

• Provide intraoperative assistance, which includes preparing operating rooms, ensuring correct patient positioning, and passing instruments
• Administer outstanding pre- and post-operative care-covering medication, wound management, discharge plans, and patient education

Required Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Clinical rotations with a focus on surgical practices strongly preferred

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
