Overview Area Sales Manager – Northern California Location: Northern California Responsibilities Achieve and exceed capital equipment sales quota for the assigned territory. Apply professional, ethical sales techniques to close new business. Develop deep product knowledge through training and competitive analysis. Generate awareness and demand through prospecting, lead follow-up, and strategic events. Identify prospective customers via referrals, networking, and proactive outreach. Engage daily with prospects via in-person meetings, calls, emails, video conferences, and events. Provide accurate quotations, maintain documentation, and ensure timely follow-up. Coordinate with internal teams to align efforts with company objectives. Track market conditions, competitor activity, and industry trends to inform strategy. Negotiate contracts and payment terms within company guidelines. Support customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and continued engagement. Collaborate with marketing to deliver impactful product promotions and events. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience (capital equipment in aesthetics strongly preferred). Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas. Bachelor’s degree in science, marketing, business, or related field preferred. Ability to build strong, long-term customer relationships. Self-starter with excellent territory management and prospecting skills. Skilled in developing new business and winning competitive deals. Outstanding presentation, negotiation, and communication skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Willing to travel up to 35% of the time.
