Salary Range $14.00 Summary Keeps premises of commercial, retail, airport, hospitality, healthcare, convention centers/arenas or other institutional buildings in clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Clears and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim. Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas. Sweeps, scrubs, finishes, and polishes floors. Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies. Dusts furniture and equipment. Polishes metalwork. Washes walls, ceilings, and woodwork. Washes windows, door panels, and sills. Empties wastebaskets, ashtrays, and cleans them. Transports trash and waste to disposal area. Other duties may be assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions and handle standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
