Qualifications This position requires the ability to inspect rooms after they are cleaned by the Housekeeper. This candidate should have previous Housekeeping experience as they have to be able to inspect the quality and cleanliness are up to the Hyatt standards. This candidate must be energetic, detailed and meticulous in following Hyatt cleanliness standards and have great interpersonal and verbal communication skills. This position works closely with the Housekeepers, Housekeeping Supervisors, and Front Desk. They will be the liaison between Housekeeping and Front Desk for communication of releasing rooms to the front desk for arrival and preparation of resort guest, owners, and VIP's. 1 year of related experience in the hospitality or service industry preferred. A genuine commitment to providing excellent service in a fast‑paced environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to perform the essential physical functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation (e.g., lifting/pushing/pulling up to 50 pounds; standing and walking for extended periods; bending, reaching, and other physical movements as required). Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred. Flexible schedule, including availability for AM/PM shifts, weekends, and holidays. Based upon fluctuating demands of the operation and to exceed customer expectations, it may be necessary to perform a multitude of different functions not specifically related to this position. This person may be expected to perform other tasks and duties as needed or as directed.
