Housekeeping Office Coordinator

Omni Hotel

Position Overview The role of the Office Coordinator is to coordinate the work assignments for housekeeping staff including but not limited to room attendants, housemen, seamstress and turndown attendants, each day, and to answer guest and associate calls and dispatch work tickets appropriately. The coordinator is responsible for the day‑to‑day office operations for the housekeeping department. Key Responsibilities Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Omni standards. Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, wear proper attire/uniform and name tag. Assign rooms to be cleaned each day to room attendants and assign VIP rooms to room attendants and supervisors. Respond to all phone calls and requests from guests and other departments. Monitor computer system, PMS statistics, and communication with the Front Desk. Prepare supervisor boards of detailed information of rooms to inspect and action items. Submit maintenance requests to Synergy. Monitor office supply inventory. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the department. Dispatch specific requests to floor supervisors and runners. Oversee hourly housekeeping reports. Ensure extra rooms and rollaway beds are logged accurately and on time. Log and calculate outside labor hours to assist Housekeeping management with accurate billing. Prepare paperwork for nest day opening, verify schedules, and make changes to associate schedules as needed. Follow Omni's Moments of Service or Forbes Service standards as applicable. Open and close the Housekeeping Department daily. Maintain Lost and Found records. Walk the floors and inspect guest rooms. Complete other tasks as assigned by management. Qualifications Ability to work cohesively with co‑workers and management within and outside of your department. Ability to accurately and efficiently input information into computer systems. Ability to sit and stand for long periods, walk, push, pull, stoop, bend, and lift items of moderate weight. Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays. Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English and Spanish used in the workplace. Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written. Must possess basic computational ability.
