Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Experience working with children, ideally in an educational or support role
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to adapt to the needs of diverse learners and maintain a patient, encouraging attitude
• Collaborative mindset and willingness to work as part of a team with teachers and support staff
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework or relevant certification preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist classroom teachers with instructional activities and classroom management
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, reinforcing lessons and fostering an encouraging learning environment
• Help prepare instructional materials and organize classroom resources
• Supervise students in various settings, including classrooms, hallways, and playgrounds
• Support students with special needs by implementing individualized strategies and accommodations
